Account Manager

Primary Responsibilities

  • Drive new contract execution, expansions and renewals
    • Act as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of clients, collaborating with Sales and support teams to achieve customer deliverables.
    • Analyze reports and data, apply industry knowledge and other intelligence to identify opportunities in-store to develop real-time action plans optimizing program value.
    • Own & manage program budget, ensuring that budget is used completely, effectively and within contract timelines.
    • Leverage upselling opportunities and customer usage of the ThirdChannel platform.
    • Promote customer retention and loyalty by delivering excellent customer service.
    • Provide timely, clear and concise communications to Customer and ThirdChannels’ Business Leadership team.
  • Collaborate with all teams involved in designated programs, including Internal and Customer Stakeholders
    • Set program vision with Field Team Managers to achieve Customers’ goals. 
    • Mitigate issues and risks by proactively engaging with Field Team Managers and communicating initiatives, priorities and changes of strategy. 
    • Collaborate with Recruiting partners to ensure maximized field coverage and  high caliber candidates.
    • Evaluate new product viability via quality assurance testing and collaborate with Product Team on new initiatives. 
    • Demonstrate results-oriented mindset and ability to plan and prioritize work activities with a determination to achieve target metrics. 
    • Be curious and listen to customers for opportunities to improve or expand the program.
  • Additional Duties:
    *Account Managers working on select programs with internal partners may also be required to:
    • Provide high-level technical support to resolve customer issues.
    • Support client field teams by providing training and guidance.
    • Create brand champions within the organization to promote customer retention and satisfaction.

 

 

Required Qualifications:

  • BA or BS and at least 5-7 years work experience, concentrated in retail, retail tech or customer service
  • Skilled at building partnerships and fostering teamwork in face-paced, entrepreneurial environments
  • Proven experience as an Account Manager or other managerial position(s)
  • Passionate about building relationships and partnerships
  • Ability to deliver best in class customer service, always one step ahead to anticipate customer needs
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proven self-starter, with an eagerness to take responsibility and consistently exceed expectations
  • Highly proficient in Excel and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience with Google Suite, Slack, & Jira desirable
